A complex for re-refining of used oils and blending of lubricants
Klaipeda, Lithuania
|
INVESTMENTS IN THE PROJECT
More than 100 million Euros
Capacity: 60,000 tons per year
Capacity: 150,000 tons per year
REGENERATION OF USED OILS
BLENDING OF LUBRICANTS
Parking
Here, our employees and guests will park their cars.
Blending of lube oils
Here, by mixing base oils and additives, high-quality lubricants are produced.
RAILWAY loading and unloading station
Here, on separate lines, used oils and lubricants are unloaded and loaded, that are delivered by railway transport.
Tank Farm
Here, used oils and lubricants are stored in tanks of various capacities.
Administrative and household building
Here are located the administrative staff of the Plant, kitchen, dining room and other household premises.
Laboratory
Here, the incoming inspection of the raw materials coming to the Plant and the quality control of the manufactured products are carried out.
Loading and unloading of tank trucks
Here, on separate lines, used oils and lubricants delivered by motor transport are unloaded and loaded.
Electrical substation and control unit
Here, the distribution and metering of electricity for production takes place. The control unit allows automated control and monitoring of technological processes in the Plant.
Hydrofinishing Unit
The Hydrofinishing process (HDF) is the main technology for improving the physical and chemical parameters of oil fractions (color, viscosity index, sulfur content) to meet the requirements for base oils of Group II of the API standard.
Regeneration Unit
Here are located: dehydration section, light gasoil stripping section, vacuum distillation section and others.
Boiler room
It produces steam for the needs of the technological process, as well as heat for heating buildings and hot water for domestic needs.

Tank farm of base oils
Storage of oils before the regeneration process.
Separation of light gasoil from dehydrated oil.
Removal of water, fuels and other light fractions under vacuum. Separation of solid pollutants. The processes are carried out under vacuum.
Extraction of “valuable” components of lube oil from heavy residues that concentrated in the bottom products.
used oil receiving area
Improving the quality of distillates of oils used in lube oils by applying hydroprocesses (hydrogenation). Production of light, medium and heavy base oils of Group II according to API.
Used oils from train and tanker trucks are delivered to the receiving point.
Storage of base oils that have undergone the regeneration process.

Project Information
The Plant will be one of the most modern production facilities of this kind in Europe. It will allow re-refining of used oil to obtain API Group II base oils and produce highly demanded lubricants.
Complies with the European Waste Management Directive 2008/98/EC
Advantages
Modern technologies
Closed loop production cycle
Qualified management
Eco-friendly production
Convenient territorial location of the Plant in Europe
Own accredited and certified laboratory
A wide range of finished products
Production facility meets all EU standards
used oil regeneration: energy consumption is 50-80% less than in the production of base oils from crude oil
Environmental friendliness
Our technology extends the service life of lubricants lube oils – giving a “new life". This makes it possible to reduce the amount of spent petroleum products, removes the need for their disposal and reduces the amount of space for storing used oils. Reduces the risk of hazardous and toxic waste contaminating the environment.
